Greeting’s students! Welcome to our free course on Global Development!
We hope you are all as happy as us about making a difference in the world and especially Africa! This course is designed to give students a background and basic understanding of Global Development with specific focus on Africa.
Please take note of the below on how to navigate this course...
- This course is designed to run sequentially, starting at the “Course Overview”, then moving on to “Module 1: Introduction to Global Development”.
- Some highlights of the content:
- Module 1: Introduction to Global Development
- Module 2: Sustainable Development in Africa
- Module 3: Destination Overview
- Module 4: Responsible Travel and Impact Focus
- Each module will also contain some simple activities and quizzes, only designed to enhance your knowledge, so no need to worry about getting them incorrect!
- We have included a few video clips, for those who are not too keen on reading.
- The content is pretty easy, and there is a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION for you at the end of the course.

Please note that you will need to complete all the activities, quizzes and case studies in order to receive the ‘Certificate of Completion’ at the end of this course.”
