African Impact, an educational travel company which has been offering developmental programmes, including service-learning, volunteering, internships, and expeditions across Africa for over 15 years.
African Impact runs permanent bases across Africa, in collaboration with the local communities. Their mission is to make a long-lasting, sustainable impact for both the communities we work with and on the bio-diversity in Africa.
We develop and run structured programmes supported by students and volunteers and the African Impact Foundation to achieve this mission.
Over the years the learning outcomes is that a community has total buy-in and ownership of a project – and a global awareness participant or volunteer is truly informed about their own role and contribution to this – then we all have the power to transform both a community and individuals over the long term.
